7Bends Magazine throws "Star Party" on Autumnal Equinox to celebrate the real people featured in the new Fall issue

September 8, 2009, Strasburg, Virginia – Hot off the press! These stars are sizzling!

Here are just some of the stars who adorn the pages of the new Fall edition of 7Bends of the Shenandoah Valley magazine - which just hit streets in Virginia this week. Their stories will be celebrated at a Star Party in Strasburg, Virginia held in their honor on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, the first day of Fall. Everyone is invited.

Fall "Valley celebrities" include: Susan Kerkhoff, Garland Himelright, Devvie Turner, Adrian, Joanne Carver, Sarah Gallahan, Jamie Smith, Amanda Bryant, Dennis Wymer Jr., Rahel Kassahun, Leslie Mitchell-Watson, Charles Barone, Scott Rosenfeld, Cully MacDonald, William MacDonald, Michael Gwin, Elizabeth Shuler, John Lesinski, Cristina Willis Maddox, Wendy Cristina Willis, Donna Cristina Willis, Lynne Phillips, Janet Heishman, Ann Harrison, Annette Petrick, and Mae New.

7Bends is named after the bends, or turns, in the Shenandoah River, and on a deeper level, the twists and turns in every soul's life journey. It has a very populist feel to it – of the people, by the people, for the people. The web site, www.7Bends.com, complemehts the quarterly print publication, and vice versa.

“7Bends is about the integration of energy, message and movement – in print and online,” the founders say. “7Bends celebrates the pulse of the people, what they are about and where they are going." As such, the tagline of the magazine is "Real people. Real stories. Real Living."

We're all connected

A magazine, if it reflects life, is itself alive and growing. It has intrinsic goodwill built in as it's printed and that carries forth  It celebrates the soul of all of the people involved, and creates a hub for all of their interactions. Then as readers read, they too, get connected. Don't forget the advertisers either. By putting their message out in the magazine, they too, get connected. They get their message seen online and in print, choosing the 7Bends marketing tools that best serve their target marketing aims.

The founders say: “The magazine is just one thing we do. It's really the merging of a local, niche publication with other means of communication that creates the magic of exchange.”

The Fall issue of 7Bends magazine is being distributed to 12,000 hand-selected high-traffic business locations and to selected homes in the quad-state region of the Mid-Atlantic, including Frederick, Shenandoah, Rockingham, Warren, Loudoun, Fauquier, Clarke, and Fairfax counties in Virginia, as well as areas in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and into D.C.

The Fall issue focuses on “Healing and Miracles” It offers people a look into nature and human nature during the glorious autumn season in the Valley. The magazine is inviting, just like the hospitality of the people all across the Shenandoah Valley. A photo of Fall leaves along Burnshire Dam in Woodstock, Virginia, makes a glorious cover shot.

Launch Party slated for September 22

The September 22 Star Party will be held at Cristina's Cafe (one of the businesses featured in the Fall issue), from 2 to 9 p.m.. The address is: 219 West King Street (Route 11), in downtown Strasburg. Local music talent will be playing their tunes during the event, and the celebration will be covered by local radio, including WSVG 790 AM.

The Shenandoah Valley stars profiled in the June and September issues, as wlel as their family and friends, will be on hand. All June and September 7Bends advertisers, and the public, will be invited to lend their applause and support, and have a great time.
